The Extension Center brings Southern's outstanding faculty to a Vermont classroom through compressed interactive video. Students and faculty see each other, and interact live with other students from N.Y.C., Washington, D.C., or Boston. Earn your M.Div. without ever moving. Or start your degree here and complete the remainder on campus.
Convenient Location
All classes are held at Christ Memorial Church in Williston, Vermont, conveniently located two miles from Rte. 89 exit 12.
Convenient Schedule
Classes are held Fridays from 7-9:30pm and Saturdays from 8:30am - 2:30pm, so you can continue to work, worship in your home church, and minister to your family.
Each course runs five weeks, meaning you'll focus on one subject area at a time. A total of three five-week courses are offered per 15-week semester. Choose to take one, two, or all three classes.

Southern Seminary is very competitively priced for all students, and offers further discounts to students attending a Southern Baptist church.
Gospel-Driven Curriculum
Southern Seminary seeks to train men and women for faithful service to the Lord Jesus Christ. Class offerings include scripture, theology and church history, biblical languages, understanding worldview, preaching, evangelism and Biblical counseling. Each degree includes a practical ministry component as well.
Full Accreditation
The Southern Seminary M.Div. program offered through the Vermont Extension Center is fully accredited in the state of Vermont.
Easy to register
You can begin your education at the start of any five-week class by registering via a special student form. Then decide if you want to continue as a fully matriculated student in the degree program.
